The Refurbs Repair and Reuse centre featuring Caffi Cyfle in Buckley, Flintshire has announced the date for their first Repair Session.

The first Repair Session is to take place on Sunday March 6th between 10.30am and 12.30pm. We have several local volunteers who will be assisting with repairs. Items that can be looked at for repair include electrical items, wooden items, bikes, toys, and clothing.

We ask that if you have an item you wish to bring along that you could email us at [email protected] with details of the item and what repair is required. All repairs are to be carried out at the customer's own risk.

Along side the Repair Sessions the centre is offering free upcycling workshops. The sessions have been using unwanted curtains to produce items such as cushion covers, and turning unwanted and broken costume / fashion jewellery into new decorative pieces with more such sessions planned.

To find out more about the Repair Sessions and upcycle workshops follow Refurbs Buckley on Facebook or get in touch [email protected]

The Repair Sessions and upcycle workshops have been made possible thanks to funding from Welsh Government’s Landfill Disposal Tax Communities Scheme, administered by WCVA.
