Annual Review 2019

Wild Ground has published its outcomes and achievements as part of the Groundwork North Wales Annual Review.   The organisation runs and manage 15 nature reserves across North East Wales with a special interest in conserving amphibian and reptile habitats. Our programmes help reconnect people to green spaces to improve overall well-being,  as well as taking action to protect the natural environment and fight climate change.   The review showed the following achievements for  the financial year 2018/19:

  • 3,395 hours of volunteering achieved
  • 724,423 sq meters of land improved or maintained
  • 17 weeks of training delivered in wildlife and conservation
