Wild Ground has published its outcomes and achievements as part of the Groundwork North Wales Annual Review. The organisation runs and manage 15 nature reserves across North East Wales with a special interest in conserving amphibian and reptile habitats. Our programmes help reconnect people to green spaces to improve overall well-being, as well as taking action to protect the natural environment and fight climate change. The review showed the following achievements for the financial year 2018/19:
- 3,395 hours of volunteering achieved
- 724,423 sq meters of land improved or maintained
- 17 weeks of training delivered in wildlife and conservation
