Refurbs Annual Review 2019
Refurbs have published its outcomes and achievements as part of the Groundwork North Wales Annual Review. Refurbs has been providing new and pre-loved furniture to people for over 17 years and our mission is to reduce furniture poverty and fight climate change. The review showed the following achievements for the financial year 2018/19:
- Refurbs supported 17 regular volunteers
- 4,116 volunteering hours were achieved
- 702 tonnes of waste was diverted from landfill
- 4,118 items of recycled pre-loved furniture and household appliances were sold to people in need of essential items.
