Pedal Power, the all-ability cycling service based at Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham has won a new Musketeer Special Need Kids Tricycle from Toyota Manufacturing (UK) Ltd.
Toyota asked for local organisations to submit 100 words as to why they should win the Trike and Pedal Power were delighted to win.
Established in 2007; we have a fleet available to hire consisting of standard and specialist bikes, trikes, hand-cycles, wheelchair bikes, side-by-side and mountain bikes for all ages and abilities.
Here are the 100 words that Pedal Power wrote to secure their winning entry. ‘Opportunities like this are invaluable to us and enable us to add to our ever-aging fleet. This trike would be much loved and bring endless enjoyment, fun and the brightest smiles to all those who would use it’.
The new bike will join Pedal Powers fleet of adapted and standard bikes. The variety of specialist bikes and trikes help many people young and old with different abilities and health conditions to exercise, achieve goals and have fun whilst doing it.
