Groundwork North Wales are passionate about volunteering and offer lots of opportunities in many different areas.

Whether you're looking to gain work experience and broaden your horizons, fulfil your passion in environmental issues or simply want to give a few hours a week to a cause that benefits your community, Groundwork North Wales is the organisation that can help you to do something special.

Groundwork North Wales regularly work with volunteers, and getting involved in one of our projects could put you in a strong position to obtain full-time work - in fact many of our existing staff began their careers with us as volunteers. From administrative to practical 'hands-on' roles we can offer something to suit everyone.

Join our Our Back Yard volunteering sessions on a Wednesday at the Community Gardens in Connah's Quay (starting Wednesday 27th April) and every Thursday at various locations across Connah's Quay. For details on Thursday locations please visit their Facebook page or contact Geraint Hughes on 01978 757 524 / [email protected]

There are additional opportunities available with conservation charity Wild Ground and  Refurbs who focus on reducing landfill and helping households with low incomes furnish their homes for less. Details of opportunities can be found below;
