Groundwork North Wales are passionate about volunteering and offer lots of opportunities in many different areas.

Whether you're looking to gain work experience and broaden your horizons, fulfil your passion in environmental issues or simply want to give a few hours a week to a cause that benefits your community, Groundwork North Wales is the organisation that can help you to do something special.

Our Trust regularly work with volunteers, and getting involved in one of our projects could put you in a strong position to obtain full-time work - in fact many of our existing staff began their careers with us as volunteers. From administrative to practical 'hands-on' roles we can offer something to suit everyone.

Groundwork North Wales currently have several projects running with volunteering opportunities available. Check out the Plas Power Project based in Tanyfron Wrexham and the We Care project with volunteering opportunities in Holywell and Greenfield in Flint and Penygroes, Talysarn, and Llanllyfni in Gwynydd

There are additional opportunities available with conservation charity Wild Ground and Charitable enterprise Refurbs who focus on reducing landfill and help households with low incomes furnish their homes for less. Details of opportunities can be found below;
