Thanks to funding from Comic Relief Pedal Power is launching free learn to rides sessions.
Pedal Power is the all ability cycling service run by registered charity Cycling 4 All based at Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham offering fun, therapy, and achievement for all abilities.
The learn to ride sessions start on Saturday 29th October and run for 6 weeks between 10am – 12pm, the sessions are open to all ages. Bring your own bike and helmet if you have them or we have them available for use.
Parents/careers are asked to stay with their child(ren) during the session and wear suitable footwear as there will be plenty of running around!
If you are interested in coming along, please drop by on Saturday 29th October 10am – 12 pm or contact the Cycling 4 All team via 01978 757524/[email protected]
Cycling 4 All is open on Wednesdays and Fridays and has a fleet of standard and specialist bikes including trikes, hand-cycles, wheelchair bikes and side-by-side bikes. There is a traffic-free cycle track around the park where our customers can enjoy the benefits of cycling in a safe and secure environment.
Pedal Power is also asking for donations of unused, unwanted bikes in good condition to be part of their Bike Swap initiative. The bike swap aims to help reduce the number of bikes that end up as waste in landfill.
