Strengthening Wellbeing, Skills and Opportunity Across North Wales.
Positive wellbeing is reflected in how people feel, how they function, and the opportunities available to them, individually and collectively. It incorporates physical and mental health, financial resilience, social connection, confidence, and aspiration.
Sustainable positive wellbeing is created when people feel empowered, supported, resilient and purposeful, and when communities provide stability, connection and opportunity for the future.
Groundwork North Wales delivers people-focused programmes that strengthen confidence, skills, and long-term prospects. Through adult learning, employability support, community projects, and environmental engagement, we help individuals build resilience, reduce isolation, and improve their progression into further learning or employment. Our approach focuses on structured training, inclusive participation, and community-based delivery to support lasting change rather than short-term intervention.
Working in partnership with local authorities, schools, employers, funders, and community organisations, our People programmes contribute to wider priorities around skills, wellbeing, inclusion, and sustainability, helping to create positive, long- term impact across North Wales.
