Free Tuesday Events running in Connah’s Quay this September
Our Back Yard is a Lottery Funded Project running in Connah's Quay, Flintshire. The programme has been running since 2017 and is aimed at empowering communities to improve their natural environment, improving green spaces for current and future generations.
As part of the programme there is a series of exciting new events taking place in September and October at Connah’s Quay Library. These range from Heritage Walks, arts and crafts session, practical volunteering, creating wildlife areas and an introduction to Wildlife Surveys.
The events start on Tuesday 21st September with a heritage nature walk and then every Tuesday for 6 weeks. All events run from 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm and start from Connah’s Quay Library,
The events are completely free and open to all and the team welcome people to come along and have a taster session of the Our Back Yard project and learn about other training opportunities and events available.
