Wild Ground have recently received funding thanks to a Volunteering Wales Grant, funded by the Welsh Government and administered by WCVA, and Moondance Foundation to continue our volunteer activities across Wrexham, Flintshire, and Denbighshire.

We’re looking for volunteers with a keen interest in wildlife and conservation to join our volunteer team. We hold practical volunteer sessions throughout the week with activities ranging from hedge laying in the winter to butterfly surveys in the summer. No experience is necessary, learn as you go in a friendly and supportive environment.

We’re aiming to make volunteering in conservation more accessible, particularly for individuals who may need extra support to take the first steps. We welcome volunteers who are neurodivergent or living with mental health challenges such as anxiety or depression, low confidence or social isolation which can make joining an unfamiliar group feel overwhelming.

To apply to volunteer, or to find out what support we can offer, contact [email protected] or call 01978 757 524.
