Adult Learners Week takes place between September 21st – 25th providing a great opportunity to discover a passion for learning, improve health and wellbeing, brush up on skills, and much more.

Groundwork Training is delighted to be part of this year’s Adult Learners week, a national celebration led by the Learning and Work Institute in partnership Careers Wales and supported by the Welsh Government. The week shines a spotlight on lifelong learning across Wales, encouraging adults of all ages to build confidence, discover new skills, gain qualifications and explore opportunities that can open doors to future careers.

During this weeklong campaign, providers will offer a variety of free online and in-person courses, events, taster sessions and resources across Wales throughout the month. With subjects ranging from health and wellbeing to job skills, there’s a learning opportunity for everyone to explore.

To mark Adult Learners Week, Groundwork Training will be attending a range of FREE community events, alongside hosting a dedicated networking session for third‑sector organisations. Together, these events celebrate learning, connection and the opportunities available across our region.

Open to the Community:

  •  21st September: Adult Learners Celebration Walk-in at Flint Town Hall, 10am - 2pm
  • 23rd September: Adult Learning and learning opportunities information stall at Mold Market, 9:30am - 3:30pm

For Third-Sector Organisations:

  • 25th September: Coffee, Cake & Collaboration 11am – 1:30pm at Wellbeing Hub: a FREE networking event for third-sector organisations at the Wellbeing Hub.             Booking is required; to book, call us on  01978 757524                           email [email protected]
