DESCRIPTION
During this 1 day course, Learners will gain a basic introduction to the principles of risk assessment. Topics covered include main causes of work-related fatalities, basic processes for undertaking a risk assessment, key terms associated with risk assessments, methods that can be used to prioritise risks and more.
This qualification is for anyone in a work environment. While employees might not undertake risk assessments themselves they may be asked to contribute to the process and will be expected to behave in a way that protects both the health and safety of themselves and others at all times. This qualification will make them more risk-aware and improve their understanding of risk assessments.
DURATION
This is a one-day classroom-based course.
CERTIFICATION
Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper.

A maximum of 16 learners can be accommodated on this course.
