Lockdown in Wales has seen Refurbs close their affordable furniture and household appliance outlet in Flint and high street store in Wrexham along with many other charities having an impact on the charity’s income.
In response to this Refurbs have taken their furniture offering online and launching their Facebook Shops (Wrexham and Flint) where the affordable furniture and household appliances can be purchased and covid safe delivery arranged (subject to terms and conditions).
Along with the affordable furniture and household appliance offering Refurbs offer other services which they have been able to maintain during the lockdown (with additional covid safety measures in place).
Furniture Deconstruction
Refurbs operate a furniture deconstruction project in association with Flintshire County Council. Refurbs have a team based at a Flintshire Household Recycling centre who work on taking apart and breaking down household furniture such as sofa’s and armchairs. With the aim of reusing and recycling what they can reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Working with local authorities, housing associations, social housing, registered landlords and private clients Refurbs offers a property clearance and cleaning service. Clearing and cleaning properties restoring them for effective use.
