Volunteer Role Description: Social Media and Digital Volunteer
Purpose: To support Refurbs by utilising social media to engage and recruit followers to our relevant pages. Utilising online marketplaces to sell product to customer.
Location: Refurbs Flint, Aber Road Industrial Estate, Flint, CH6 5EX
Key Responsibilities:
- To create and maintain online profiles on relevant and popular social media platforms and marketplaces.
- Creating content/stories and posting to social media account.
- List items for sale on marketplace/eBay.
- Monitoring eBay sales and package sold items.
- Showcase popular stock/unusual items.
- Research collectables and write eBay product descriptions.
- To find users to follow and like our charity accounts.
- Writing and posting lively and engaging posts.
- Engaging with followers and customers queries.
Reports to: Retail Manager.
Length of Appointment: On Going - Long term opportunities available
Time Commitment: No minimum commitment.
Qualifications required: None required as training will be provided. Excellent Written and Verbal skills preferred. A passion for social media would be an advantage.

Age Requirement: 18 upwards.
Dress Code: Smart Casual.
DBS Check required: No - all work will be supervised.
Additions: Travel expenses to be reimbursed and refreshments available on the day.
