Job Title: Cycling 4 All Manager

Location:  Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham  

Responsible to: Board of Trustees

Days of the week:  Summer (April – Oct) – Wed, Thurs, Friday

Winter (Nov – March) – Wed, Friday

Number of hours per week:

Summer 18 hours a week , Winter – 12 hours a week

9.00am – 3.30pm (with 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Salary: Full time £26,500 (pro rata £10,953). Summer pro rata £7,420, Winter pro rata £3,534.

Purpose: Develop and deliver Cycling 4 All, trading as Pedal Power, at Alyn Waters Country Park in line with grant funders requirements, delivering a variety of outdoor, community cycling projects and activities as applicable. 

Cycling 4 All in North Wales is an all ability cycling project with a specially built track and a wide range of specialist trikes, bikes, tandems and wheelchair cycles meaning that people with many different abilities can experience the joy and health benefits of cycling. The service is based at Alyn Waters Country Park near Wrexham, and attracts users from all over north-east Wales. Our aims are to improve people’s chances in life by increasing the range of opportunities to be active, to enhance the life skills of both users and the volunteers who support them, and to enable people to lead healthier and more active lives.

The Cycling 4 All Manager will lead the day-to-day operation of the service, coordinating staff, volunteers and activities to ensure a welcoming, safe and high-quality experience for beneficiaries and visitors. The role involves managing administration, health and safety, safeguarding, fundraising support, impact reporting and stakeholder relationships, while helping to develop the service and secure its long-term sustainability.

Some travel will be required to attend meetings, events and fundraising activities.
