DESCRIPTION
During this half day course, Learners will develop their understanding of the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures required to ensure hazardous substances are properly controlled, as well as learn how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances.
This qualification is for all employees, or those who intend to work in an environment where it’s likely they will be coming into contact with hazardous substances. This includes workplaces in areas such as healthcare, manufacturing, cleaning, transport, utilities and office environments.

DURATION
Half day in the classroom
5 hours when delivered online
ASSESSMENT
Invigilated e-assessment when online
Practical assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating in a multiple choice question paper in the classroom
CERTIFICATION
The learner receives a certificate by email once assessment completed successfully and verified by Awarding Body
NUMBERS
A maximum of 16 learners can be accommodated in the classroom.
