This course is suitable for everyone within a workplace, providing learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions, and the skills to start a conversation and be able to support a person towards professional help.

Duration
A minimum of 4 contact hours in a classroom.
Numbers
A maximum of 16 learners can be accommodated on this course.
Certification
A level 1 Award in Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health will be issued upon successful assessment. This qualification is valid for 3 years from the date of completion. The learner will need to complete the course again to requalify for a further 3 years. It is strongly recommended that learners attend annual refresher training.
