Groundwork Training will be taking part in Get Online Week 2024, the UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign, running from October 14-20, 2024. By supporting this unique initiative, Groundwork Training will be helping individuals in the local communities to enhance their digital skills, gain access to online resources, and become more digitally confident.

Organised by Good Things Foundation, Get Online Week has been a yearly event since 2007, working to close the digital gap by providing free, community-based digital skills training across the UK. Last year over 865 events were held, enabling more than 16,000 people to gain critical online skills in just one week.

During Get Online Week Groundwork Training will be hosting free digital skills workshops and sessions for all experience levels—from those learning how to send emails for the first time to individuals looking to improve their online safety and financial management. These community sessions will provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure everyone can get online and stay connected.

Louise Stokes Head of Training said “We are excited to be part of Get Online Week 2024. Digital skills are key in today’s world, whether it’s for accessing vital services, applying for jobs, or staying in touch with family. By working with the Good Things Foundation, we hope to empower even more people with digital knowledge and skills.”
