Groundwork Training has launched the spring timetable for their programme of fully funded courses for learners, aged 19 or over and living in Flintshire.

This programme is delivered through the North East Wales Adult Community Learning Partnership, a joint venture between Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council to provide the very best adult learning opportunities and outcomes in the local communities.

Training courses and dates have now been announced for May and June offering a variety of essential skills courses designed to be accessible and enjoyable for individuals over 19 in Flintshire, with courses taking place in Mold Town Centre, Flint Town Centre and Queensferry.

The IT Skills for Beginners course runs over 8 sessions and aims to build learners' confidence in using IT and in general computer use.

The Confidence Building course is an interactive 3-day workshop to help participants explore their personal development, learn how to set goals, and explore their employment options.

The Employability Skills course takes place in 3 sessions and covers all the essentials for job application, such as writing a CV and cover letter, making effective job searches, job applications and interview skills.
