Groundwork Training, in partnership with North East Wales Adult Community Learning (ACL), are hosting a range of free Employability Skills and Smartphones for Beginners courses for those over 19 living in Wrexham and Flintshire.
Smartphones for Beginners
This short course is for those who are complete beginners and have little or no experience using smartphones, aiming to build their confidence in using smartphones. You can bring your own smartphone along to the session if you have one. There will be opportunity in each session to practice what you have learned.
Sessions include familiarization with a smartphone, features of a smartphone, setting up a smartphone, downloading apps, and much more depending on what learners identify as important to them.

Employability Skills
This course covers the essentials for completing a successful interview and will include how to create a positive first impression, identifying transferable skills, preparing for interviews, and practicing your interview skills.
21st September 10am – 12pm @ Flint Library
Both courses are fully funded and free for those aged 19+ living in Wrexham and Flintshire, and will be delivered in an informal, friendly, and learner-centered way.
