The week commencing 21st January is BIG ENERGY SAVING WEEK – and Our Big Energy Saving Bus is visiting locations in Wrexham and Flintshire and helping people save money with their energy bills and find out about lots of other local support services.

Big Energy Saving Week is an annual campaign coordinated by Citizens Advice in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The next Big Energy Saving Week starts on Monday 21st January 2019.

The week focuses on raising public awareness of how to save money on energy costs by switching energy supplier or tariff, accessing discounts or grants, and making homes more energy efficient – encouraging people to Check, Switch, Save.

We are delighted to have been awarded Gold Partner status for the first time this year, and we are organising events to be held in Wrexham and Flintshire throughout the week.

We will be taking a vintage Routemaster bus on a driving tour of the region, travelling around Flintshire on Wednesday 23rd January and Wrexham on Thursday 24th January, aiming to engage with a minimum of 200 people over the two days.

Also on our bus, NEST, Warm Wales, WELSH Water, Hafren Dyfrdwy, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Age Connects, Wrexham Family information service, plus more……
