National Wellbeing Week takes place between June 24th – 30th June 2025, providing a chance for you to focus and learn about your wellbeing.

Wellbeing is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity. That includes having good mental health a sense of meaning, socially connected and the ability to manage stress.
Caring for your wellbeing is important because it directly impacts your mental and physical health, as well as your ability to cope with life's challenges and build positive relationships. Research shows that’s looking after your wellbeing leads to increased self-esteem, reduced stress, and enhanced productivity, ultimately contributing to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
To celebrate Wellbeing Week, Groundwork Training are holding various free drop-in sessions for you to take a break, enjoy relaxing craft activities and explore ways to boost your wellbeing.
Upcoming drop-ins:
Tue 24th June, 10am – 12pm at Wrexham Wellbeing Hub
Wed 25th June, 10am – 12pm at Acton Resource Centre
As well as our drop-in sessions, we offer friendly wellbeing courses, where you can learn the 5 ways to wellbeing and connect with others in the community.
Groundwork Training’s wellbeing courses and drop ins are a chance for you to enhance your wellbeing by boosting confidence, finding a sense of purpose and resilience. Learn and develop coping mechanisms for stress whilst building meaningful connections with others in the community.
“My wellbeing was fairly low, but now I have started these classes, I have a new purpose in life. Before I just lived for my family, but now I realise I must help me too.”
“Thank you so much, you have really helped me to believe in myself.”
These sessions and courses are made possible thanks to Groundwork Training partnership with North East Wales Adult Community Learning (ACL). They’re all completely FREE to attend.
