Get Online Week takes place between October 20th – 26th, empowering people to bridge the digital divide in just a week.

Get Online Week organised by Good Things Foundation, is the UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign. By supporting this unique initiative, Groundwork Training will be helping individuals in local communities to enhance their digital skills, gain access to online resources, and become more digitally confident.
Get Online Week has been a yearly event since 2007, aiming to bridge the digital divide by providing free, community-based digital skills training across the UK. With 8.5 million people in the UK lack the basic digital skills needed for everyday tasks, community organisations, libraries and other partners will host free local events to support people get online, build confidence and learn new digital skills.
As part of Get Online Week, Groundwork Training will be offering free digital skills workshops and sessions for all experience levels. These community sessions will provide practical information and hands-on support across a range of digital topics - from AI to online safety. Ensuring everyone gets online, builds confidence, and feel empowered in the digital world.

- Tuesday 21st October, 10am – 12pm, Your Guide to Online Safety at NEWCIS Mold
- Wednesday 22nd October, 10am – 12pm, Making & Creating Online at Wellbeing Hub Wrexham
- Thursday 23rd October, 10am – 12pm, Wellbeing in a Digital Age at Refurbs Buckley
- Friday 24th October, 1pm - 3pm AI in Everyday Life at Rivertown URC
All sessions will offer a welcoming environment where individuals can learn at their own pace, ask questions, and gain the confidence to explore the digital world.
