Free First Aid courses for communities across Wrexham and Flintshire, giving everyone the opportunity to learn vital, life-saving skills.

Working in partnership with North East Wales Adult Community Learning (ACL), we are offering FREE First Aid courses. Whether you’re a parent, carer, community volunteer, or simply want to feel more confident in knowing what to do in an emergency, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn practical skills that could help save a life.

First Aid is a vital skill that everyone should carry. It enables for a safer community where people can help others in emergencies. By learning first aid enables individuals to respond confidently and successfully until professional help arrives. Building both resilience and reassurance in stressful situations.

Choose from:

Basic Paediatric First Aid: Designed for parents and careers.

This is for those who want a better understanding of the skills needed to deal with a range of Paediatric First Aid conditions and incidents.

Basic First Aid: Open to all community members.

This is designed for members of the community and will cover basic first aid needed to deal with an first aid emergency.

The 2- hour courses will cover subjects such as:

  • Dealing with a first aid emergency
  • Resuscitation and AED awareness
  • Choking
  • Minor injuries
  • Recovery position
  • Wounds, bleeding and shock

Get a group of 7 or more together and we’ll run a course just for you or register your interest and join a course once we have the minimum number required.
