Our trustees bring energy and enthusiasm to our Board and contribute to the diversity of experience and thinking at board level.
Previous trustee experience is not essential, just the ability to attend meetings in person and on occasion virtually, full induction, training and support will be provided from the outset. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with other trustees will be crucial.
We really need your help and expertise, so if you are keen to make a difference for communities and the environment in North Wales and have skills in either retail or finance, then we would love to hear from you.
- Finance Trustee – Essential skills for this role include an understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations. Experience in the 3rd sector is desirable but not essential.
- Retail Trustee – Experience in retail operations is essential preferably within the charitable sector along with the ability to provide guidance on growing our retail offer and developing new income streams, including selling on on-line platforms.
- Commitments – Trustees attend up to five board meetings a year and are invited to join one of the organisation’s sub-committees which meet four times a year.
