Finance Trustee (Chair of Finance & HR Subgroup)
We are looking for someone with strong financial understanding and experience to join our Board as a trustee and Chair of the Finance and HR Subgroup. This role is key to supporting Board members with financial decisions and understanding, acting as a link between the Board and its Finance and HR Subgroup and providing support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.
As the board’s finance lead you will maintain effective governance oversight of the group’s affairs, to ensure its financial viability and that proper processes and procedures exist for assuring all financial records, decisions and delegations.
Commitments
Applicants should note that Trustees are appointed for an initial three-year term. Trustee positions are unremunerated, other than pre-agreed out of pocket expenses. Trustees attend up to 5 board meetings a year and are invited to join one of the organisation’s subgroups as well as to attend a Senior Management and Board development day. Meetings can be face to face and virtual.
